Web22 Nov 2024 · 1) The keyless access feature is inoperative. While holding the fob in my hand, touching the door handle has no effect. Can't unlock (nor lock) the doors. Nor the rear hatch. The car doesn't seem to detect the presence of the nearby fob. 2) Similarly, pressing the unlock/lock buttons on the key fob is a no-op. Web8 Dec 2024 · There is a button built into the grab you use to manually lift the hatch. Press it and hold it for 10 seconds or more and the system will reset. Then you can run the hatch as normal. You mean the button I press to open the hatch when I don't want to use the key fob? That one? Just hold it in for 10 seconds instead of just a press to operate? dcyvr

WebSolved. Open the hatch, put a carabiner into the hatch lock making sure to click it completely so the "Hatch Open" light goes out. (You will see the hatch open light is now off). In the meantime pop open the plastic cover at the latch. You can leave the hatch open as long as you like and it won't drain the battery. Something is causing the CM to think one of the close buttons - in the dashboard, on the fob, or on the gate itself - has been pressed. Web1 Jan 2016 · The primary method of opening the hatch is an electronic button on the hatch. The only way I can open and close it now is by crawling through the car and using the small finger hole manual release. I've replaced the entire latch assembly with a brand new one thinking the issue was simply the motor that operated the latch had quit.
